Industrial Living

Been loving the industrial look lately, always have, but lately i've been well sorta obsessed with it. I love the toughness about it, but yet can make a room look very chic with a few industrail pieces.
I love how this room looks so soft and feminine but then the chairs bring in some masculine/strong points to the area. (image from countryliving.com)

Ugh, I want this lamp.

Here is that chair again.

What a Hoot!!

I love owls, they are so mysterious. With the movie "Legend of the Guardian" coming out soon and Fall about to start, what perfect timing to show some ways to decorate with owls.

How Gorgeous is this African Barn Owl??

This small collection of owls is perfect for the Fall or year round...I love the natural patina too. (image from www.designspongeonline.com)

An owl umbrella holder makes a great entry welcome.

The pattern on this pillow is perfect and would go well with other black pillows for a fun October decor. (image from www.thisnext.com)

Adorable white owl lamp. (image from www.lakejane.com)

White bedroom with owl pillows. And check out the industrial table/stool next to the bed...love it. I'm going to have to find me one of those. (image from www.roomenvy.wordpress.com)

Stacking old books and topping it with an owl is a nice simple look as well. (from Anthropologie)

Cute colorful vintage owl.

And finally some yummy halloween treats...these look super easy to make using Oreo cookies. These can also be perfect for a kids party.

How Romantic

Roses always add a little romance to a space. Here are some ideas on how to add a romantic tone anywhere in the home.

I love these roses in the vintage silver setting.

These are my favorite roses...so elegant.

A simple jar makes a perfect vase for roses

So Shabby Chic

How darling is this pink rose chandelier?? Would be perfect in a bedroom, a little girls room, an office, or even a bathroom.

I just love this gorgeous chinosierie wall paper pattern

A collection of vintage rose paintings
(image from vintageindie.typepad.com)

A little overboard for my style...but still very romantic and many great ideas like, once again, the collection of rose paintings, the roses on the side table, and rose pillows would be a nice "pop" in an all white room.

Such a lovely bedroom. The romantic rose duvet is a nice compliment to the beautiful headboard.
