>>>Here is the lowdown<<<
What:
The mission:
Every week Sevenly (and its customers) teams up with a charity, helping raise funds and awareness for 7 full days. Each purchase made gives $7 to the charity partner of the week.
This week's charity:
To Write Love on her Arms. This week you will help provide therapy, counseling and suicide prevention for an individual struggling with depression.
Why you should check it out this week:
Well first of all, the floral "Beauty" print is pretty darn cool. Secondly, we need more Mental Health awareness…pronto. I know this all too well. So many people in the dark. See it, hear it, live it every day. Depression and suicide is all too real and it SUCKS!!!!

I found this kitchen a couple of months ago and I just can't get enough of it's beauty and perfection. To me…it is THE most perfect kitchen I have seen. The details are impeccable and the old mixed in with the new is timeless. The wood island table is to die for. I love that it doesn't look like your typical kitchen island and can actually be relocated to an office or a studio for other uses, but it does look perfect in the kitchen. It's simple color scheme of black, white and grays are a perfect backdrop for the pops of color added with the sofa (yes, there is a sofa in the kitchen) and the beautiful wood. Major props to Jessica Helgerson Interior Design for this amazing kitchen. They call it the Alhambra kitchen because it is in The Alhambra building built in 1926 located in Portland, Oregon (2004 NW Irving St to be exact…total stalker status here but its worth google mapping it to take a look at the outside. Its a beautiful building)
The project manager for Alhambra Kitchen was JHID designer Em Shephard.

Phewwwww-weeeee!!! It's been a while...lets just say ALL of March was a bit stressful and I was just not in the mood to sit and think and blog. But it's all good now and I am back with some Easter yumminess. What perfect way to torture myself when I have given up all sweets for lent, right?! (4 more days and I am sooo binging on my babes homemade donuts.) But for now, at least my guy gets to enjoy this delicious mini layered x3 german chocolate cake, sprinkled with coconut and topped with cute little chocolate eggs. Oh it did smell so very good and I heard it taste good too.

I played around with some of the items available and created a couple of mood boards. I've got sweet girl rooms on my mind (hello sister, please let me decorate Nikki's bedroom in the future!!) It was so much fun browsing the site and combining items to create some pretty cool spaces. Talk about some Eclectic love!
