Sayulita!!!

Hola! Got back last week from a lovely trip down South to a little hippie town called Sayulita. Just forty-five minutes away from Puerto Vallarta, through the jungle in to Nayarit, is a bohemian paradise where everyone is so laid back and locals surf day in and day out. Found out about this little town over a year ago as my aunt (80 years old) and I sat at a doctor's appointment reading my favorite magazine…Domino Magazine. It was Domino Magazine that featured Brittney Borjeson, her home, and her exciting adventure in Sayulita that drew my aunt's attention and desire to want to explore this town. I simply just tagged along. My aunt just wanted a place where she can relax...and she definitely chose the right place.

We stayed at the wonderfully charming Hotel Vogue right in the center of town. It truly is a hidden oasis. We were walking distance from everything and rented a golf cart for a few days to explore the outskirts of the town. It was nice to get away and hang out with my dear aunt who definitely got some much needed and well deserved R&R.

My aunt and a Sayulita dog. The dog situation is quite interesting in this small town.

Very poor cell phone picture, but I just loved this view right outside of our hotel and I didn't have my camera with me.

Beautiful house we came across while cruising on the golf cart

The photo below was actually take in another town called Rincon de Guayabitos about an hour away from Sayulita. Amazing scenery.

Hope to get around to sharing photos from our visit to Evoke…needs it's very own post. Good stuff!!
