Sweet Baby Scarlett

This here is the lovely Norris Family. I had the pleasure of photographing them a few weeks ago on a perfect cloudy day and I am just obsessed with little Scarlett. She is such a sweet baby girl, easy going, and smiled on que. Super fun! I had such a great time with this family.

And I captured little Miss Scarlett back in June as well. I absolutely love her strawberry blonde hair. She is a DOLL!!

Maison de Luxe 2015

This past weekend, my aunt and I got to tour the Doheny Greystone Estate in Beverly Hills for the annual Maison de Luxe Designer Show House. This is the only time the mansion is all dressed up, every single room, as it once was when the Doheny family lived there. Maybe not exactly how the Doheny's had it, but definitely lively with color, patterns, and layers of rich textures. It is pretty incredible this year, so if you are in Los Angeles it is so worth checking out before it is all taken down on the 22nd of November. Some of my favorite designers were showcasing their work this year, such as Lauren Liess, Nina Campbell, and Andrea Schumacher. Their rooms definitely did not disappoint. The sad part is that it all does have to come down in a few weeks. It's quite amazing how the rooms can be transformed using carpets, wall paper, paint, lighting fixtures, plus so much more, and then taken apart in a blink of an eye. Kudos to all of the designers for their hard work.

Here are a few photos I captured with my phone of some of the rooms (did not capture all because I wanted to really enjoy and not be worrying about taking pictures..really trying to do this more often.)

Absolutely fell in love with these chairs.

I took this photo because I love the entrance to this terrace, but if you look closely you can see that I also took this photo because that is Ellen Degeneres and Portia de Rossi in here :-)

And of course my favorite, and now my aunt's favorite...Lauren Liess. She decorated the stair tower sitting room and terrace on the third floor. We had just finished her new book, Habitat: The Field Guide to Decorating, and we were excited to see her design in person.

(so happy my aunt was able to join me, to say that it was a challenge for her to get to the third floor with no elevator is an understatement, but she was a trooper and loved every single minute…and I love spending every minute I can with her)

Thank you Luxe Interiors + Design for another beautiful show house. I can't wait for the next one.
