How Romantic

Roses always add a little romance to a space. Here are some ideas on how to add a romantic tone anywhere in the home.

I love these roses in the vintage silver setting.

These are my favorite roses...so elegant.

So Shabby Chic

How darling is this pink rose chandelier?? Would be perfect in a bedroom, a little girls room, an office, or even a bathroom.

I just love this gorgeous chinosierie wall paper pattern

A little overboard for my style...but still very romantic and many great ideas like, once again, the collection of rose paintings, the roses on the side table, and rose pillows would be a nice "pop" in an all white room.

Such a lovely bedroom. The romantic rose duvet is a nice compliment to the beautiful headboard.

Pure Projects #13: Finally Hang It

Lauren Liess over at Pure Style Home had a project going that motivated me to do something I had not done. I recently painted the walls to a bedroom and had put off hanging my cross collection (because I have soooo many). This is what it finally looks like.

My collection of crosses from all around the world. Several are actually missing because I could not fit them all. I guess I will have to use another wall to put up the rest.

Cross from Paris, France. I bought this one last year at the Notre Dame cathedral.

I recently brought back this large bead rosary from Argentina, I love how it looks against the white cross.

This cross is from my trip to Cartagena, Colombia a few months ago. I love how unique it is.

Again, thanks to Lauren for inspiring to complete projects that I would otherwise be lazy to complete anytime soon. Don't forget to check out her amazing blog Pure Style Home full of great inspiration.

It's Finally Summer....and we're going South of the Border!!

I finally felt the heat today...and wouldn't it have been nice if i had a beautiful patio to unwind? I love Mexican style...well anything! The bright colors, the rustic finishes, the pretty iron works..it's all so pretty.

EXPOSED!!

I really love exposed shelves in the kitchen...gives the kitchen this sort of vintage barn-like feel. But not sure I can pull off the clean de-cluttered look or have the shelves super clean all of the time. Might be too much work...but then again beauty is a lot of work.

I love the taupe colored walls with the white cabinets and all white dishes and pitchers on the shelves.

The farm sink...the chickens...the wine glasses....LOVE!!

So Country :) (Photo from Country Living Mag.)

I really like the natural palette of this kitchen...and of course so vintage.

Crisp!!

Very nicely lined up.

Another farm sink with shelves above...and I really love the industrial style lighting.

Interior designer Brooke Giannetti of Velvet & Linen did an amazing job re-doing her kitchen...actually her entire house is Fabulous!!! You must check it out.

Another gorgeous design by blogger Lauren Liess of Pure Style Home. She also did an incredible job designing her home...truly inspiring.
