Polly Wales Handcrafted Jewellery

So lately I've just been sitting in front of the computer, mostly on Pinterest, pouting, still in pain and swollen from having my wisdom teeth pulled out last Friday. Sucks for me, but this means I have found some pretty cool things on that little ol' Pinterest site. I came across a ring by Polly Wales designs, looked them up, and I just had to share. I LOVE rings, actually obsessed a bit with rings. I come back with at least 5 every time I travel and I'm always on the look out for simple itty dainty bands or big flashy rings when out shopping. I absolutely fell in love with every one of Polly Wales' designs, perfect combination of dainty and bold. I love them all, which is your favorite?

Emmy's 2012 Fashion

Love me a red carpet. Anybody else catch the red carpet for the Emmys? So many lovely dresses. Here are some of my favorite. I have to say, one of my faves was Kelly Osbourne...stunning!!!! Loving the purple on her, she really looks amazing.

Fall, I love You

Still in pain and looking like a chipmunk (or like my babe said, Bethenny Frankel, lol). Having the wisdom teeth taken out is no fun, but I couldn't resist posting about Fall...my favorite season. It's about to get all warm and fuzzy up in here...woot!!

Back to my cozy bed and cozy dogs I go.

Chalkboard Frame DIY

Bought this old frame with a "fake" painting at a thrift store a while back for about $5, if that. Actually had it hanging in the bedroom for a while, then I just got tired of it's depressing state, so I put it away. When I did my Spring cleaning this year (in the Summer) I found it again...went out and bought me some chalkboard paint (used Rust-Oleum Chalk-Board latex paint)....

And turned this.......into that.

Then prepped it with these little steps.

Wrote a little message...like this one.

And hung it in the kitchen, on the refrigerator, using velcro.

I chose the fridge because I plan to use it to write 'to do' lists, grocery lists, recipes, little love notes, etc. I think it adds a bit of coziness to the kitchen. I'm loving it.

Now I have left over chalkboard paint (remember I also painted THIS with the paint)...oh what else should I paint? I'm hooked.

It's almost Fall, and it is hotter than you know what in L.A. So who cares if it's past Labor Day, white it is (who even follows this stupid rule anyway?)

Sparkle in the Kitchen

Hello Loves, it is almost the weekend and I am excited because I have absolutely nothing planned...(just an MRI of my brian my doc ordered for me, but not biggie. I think I just have Vertigo) but I will be relaxing after. Maybe, just maybe I'll do a little shopping.

I wanted to start off the weekend with a little sparkle in the eyes....with Chandeliers. In the kitchen that is. I love how whimsy and elegant they can look in a kitchen. What do you think? Would you put a chandelier in your kitchen?

This first image is what I wish I could do to my kitchen. Love the white cabinets, black wall and blue door. Perfection. This is also about the size of our current kitchen, maybe that's why I can envision it...want so bad.
