Designer Crush...Steven Gambrel

I love to admire interior designer's work and often wish I had followed my heart and studied interior design when I had the chance. Not saying I am not happy with what I do now, I love it...but my heart has always been on anything artistic, creative, beautiful (hence why I have this little ol' blog.) When I came across the work of Steven Gambrel, my jaw (and heart) just about dropped. He is amazing!!! He creates the most beautiful spaces, clean and fresh with many rustic and country touches that make any space beyond cozy but still modern. Every time I see his beautiful spaces, I always think to myself "oh, I wish I could do that." He is just brilliant, check out for yourself. My favorite are the kitchens...simply stunning!

Insta Weekend +

Kisses and snuggles with my sweet niece, morning cuddles with my furry babies, walks on the beach, on the Dexter set, and wild prints made up my weekend. It was fabulous. And the perfect weather didn't hurt either. Eek, am I addicted to instagram lol. I love capturing life's pretty little things.

Lovely Favorites

Hello loves. I am so excited it's just about Friday. I usually don't care for Fridays, especially because I work on some Saturdays...but this Friday is the opening ceremony for the Olympics in London. I am beyond excited that there are sooo many athletes from this ol' little beach town here by L.A. competing in these Olympics. woo-woo!! Anyone else excited about the games?

Creepy Urchins

Saw these mounted on a black wall recently and totally fell in love with them. They sure are creepy (well the real ones), but pretty darn cool. Loving them to place on top of stacked books. Thinking it would be easy to make one. Anybody ever try it?

Oh My, a Bike Sink

Hello Loves. Short post today. Went for a looong lovely walk this evening (ended up doing a little shopping along the way) and am so tired. So, sorry for the short post. Was actually not going to post at all, but was over at Pinterest getting my daily fix and came across this brilliant idea. I love it. How great would this be for conversation in a guest bathroom (let's make it a hang out area lol)

Happy Day!

It's the weekend and it is Bee-a-u-tiful outside. I can here the beach traffic already, it's going to be one of those "hard to find parking" kind of days, so that means we can't move...or we lose our good parking spots. So, I will find something to do at home (maybe tackle one of my projects) then maybe later we'll get out and maybe do a little shopping or magazine browsing at Barnes n Noble with a Vanilla Latte.

Pretty cool New York Condo

I came across this pretty darn cool (probably not my style, but still cool) New York condo recently. Let me show you what is so darn cool.

And it's gone! A large opening for fresh air and beautiful greenery? How cool is this? I love it. It's described as a convertible 2 bedroom triplex. Sorry, but for those of you who were getting ready to write a 2 million dollar check, hate to break to you, but it is no longer available.

And here is the rest of the condo. A little too modern for me, but with a little bohemian touch, a load of ferns and other greeneries, and some funky art work on the walls would make this condo a bit more cozy.

Nautical Chain Coffee Table Love

Anybody else in love with the chain coffee table in the latest House Beautiful issue? It's stunning, especially with the white stone top. Oh, how I love you my lovely love.

And I love it so much...I just had to search for it...and I found it. Trust me, I am running to get it HERE...it's a steal (insert sarcasm here). Well actually, maybe it is a steal, my little wallet just doesn't think it is. Total bummer.

Let's have Breakfast

Happy Sunday!!! I write this post as I have a delicious breakfast....not in one of these amazing breakfast nooks. Boo! How I wish. Aren't they gorgeous?

Any plans on this beautiful day? We have lots of running around to do, one of which is to wash my 90lb. German Shepherd at my parents, ugh. He is such a monster. Had hoped to catch a flea market today, but sleeping in sounded sooo much better. Happy day.
